ABOUT ME

Hi, beautiful traveler! I'm so glad you stopped by!

My name is Orsi (pronounced Or-she) and I can't wait to see you take your first solo trip.  And then many more.

Traveling solo as a woman is challenging. You will laugh. You may cry. You may even get lost from time to time. But through it all, you will find the real you - your strengths and weaknesses. That in itself is incredibly empowering, and will motivate you to carry on to your next journey.

My suggestion is to go now. If you are waiting for someone to travel with you, you may end up waiting for a lifetime (or until they are ready). To awaken quite alone in a strange town is one of the most exciting sensations in the world.

My crazy solo travels started when I was a teenager. Both of my parents worked in the aviation industry and I was so lucky to get free airline tickets while I was a minor. My parents were so amazing to let me go and do my thing - for which I will be thankful for eternity. Somehow they knew that I was destined to do this and not stopping me was the biggest gift they could have given me.

I traveled the world alone and no matter what kind of situation I was in, I always came out strong.

Those adventures raised me and gave a solid foundation to my adult self.

‘When you’re traveling with someone else, you share each discovery, but when you are alone, you have to carry each experience with you like a secret, something you have to write on your heart, because there’s no other way to preserve it.” – Shauna Niequist

I don’t travel alone to get away from people.  I travel alone to get closer to me.

And it works every.single.time.
